It was a wonderful 75th birthday today. Diane and I spent a very relaxing day in Eureka, Nevada. No peddling. Just some coffee and cards, darn good breakfast (late) and dinner, re-packing since no more panniers (yeah!), and an overtime Avs victory. Tomorrow we’ll enjoy a leisure morning before heading to the spot for me to finish cycling the last 17 miles to Ely, which by all accounts seem to be flat or downhill.
Day 68 – End of an Adventure; Homecoming; Final Thoughts
What a wonderfully emotional day. A fairly fast and normal ride through the rest of the Poudre Canyon. As I started south through Fort Collins,
