Lost House Ranch

Our accommodations last night were at the Lost Horse Ranch outside of Fruitland. Wonderful hosts. Rustic yet clean and cozy. No need to close and lock the doors at night. The owner had many an interesting story to share from being a ski instructor, to managing the Daniels Summit Resort to working at Park City ski resort to life with his two horses.

Yes – It is Open

I’ll go out on a limb here and say the drive-in movie theater in Roosevelt, Utah is one of a dying breed. As much as I would like to, we won’t be hanging around to watch the Friday night’s showing of Jurassic World: Dominion.

Tomorrow we’re both looking forward to crossing the state line into Colorado. Although about a week still to go, it will be great to be on Colorado soil, or should I say roads, again! We’ll need to be off the main route of US-40, staying in Rangely, Colorado.
